Steve Jobs Death

Steve Jobs, the most visionary technology maker of the digital era, died a year ago today at the age of 56.

Below is a version of the classic apple ad, voiced over by the man himself Steve Jobs.

In remembrance of Steve Jobs, I’ve also posted another video below of Steve Jobs presenting his more memorable speeches to the 2005 graduating class at Standford University. Jobs speech, How To Live Before You Die, has been praised by TED Talks as one of the best on the web.

As we remember the great skill, ingenuity, and beauty in Steve Jobs’ work, we are presented with an opportunity to praise the God of whose skill, ingenuity, and beauty they are but a dim reflection.

And when we see one of those glowing Apple logos, let us take the moment to honor the greatness of our God and at the same time cultivate a longing for something that no human tool can ever do.
